Aim

Sig Writing Publications (prepublications and archives) is an initiative of several EARLI SiG-Writing members. It offers researchers the possibility to publish papers, chapters and other research material on-line, freely accessible to other writing researchers. Our goal is twofold. On the one hand we would like to be a significant online resource for the most recent research on writing and on the other hand we would like to provide an archive of relevant research that has been conducted by writing researchers.

We wish to foster a sense of community and a collegial sharing of ideas by providing an online space where relevant work can be published in an initial stage. Submitted publications will be checked for relevance, completeness, and style by the archive's editors. The server will guarantee continuous availability of the latest work in the field.

Target audience

Sig Writing Publications is freely accessible for researchers in the field of writing studies. This could include cognitive and social psychologists, linguists, educational and developmental specialists carrying out research into writing processes, as well as practitioners involved in developing writing at all levels of education.
