Relevance
Contributions will be considered relevant for publication on the server, if they are related to one of the themes from previous SIG Writing activities (mentioned below) and
(a) if they contain new insights and results (e.g. in the case of prepublications) or
(b) are hereby made freely accessible to a wider audience than before (e.g. in the case of previously published materials or teaching materials).
The Sig Writing publication server welcomes contributions which are related to one of the following themes:
Academic writing
Analysis of text, genre, or text quality
Cognitive processes in writing (planning, revising, drafting strategies)
Collaborative writing
Computer-based writing instruction
Creative writing
Development of writing ability
Instructional design in the area of writing
Links between writing and other components of the language curriculum (reading, grammar, etc.)
Motivational and emotional factors in writing
New writing media and environments
Social and cultural aspects of writing
Spelling processes in writing
Teaching and learning of writing in different contexts
Writing and literature
Writing research methodology
Writing to learn, writing across the curriculum
Written communication in non-educational settings
